Privacy policy
What data this website collects (very little), how server logs and emails are handled, and how we will tell you before anything changes.
This page explains what personal data flightsassistance.com collects and how it is used. The short version: very little, and nothing for advertising or tracking.

No analytics, no tracking cookies
This is a static website: pages are pre-built and served as files. At the moment we do not use analytics tools, advertising, tracking pixels, social media widgets or tracking cookies. We don't build profiles of visitors and we don't sell or share data with advertisers.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting server automatically records basic technical information when a page is requested: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, your browser's user-agent string and the referring page. These logs are kept by our hosting provider in the European Union for a short period, and are used only to keep the site secure and working – for example, to detect abuse or fix errors. They are not used to identify individual readers or for marketing.
Emails you send us
If you write to contact@flightsassistance.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply to you and to correct or improve our content when you report a mistake. We don't add you to any mailing list and don't pass your message to anyone else, unless the law requires it.
Please don't send us booking passwords, card numbers or identity documents. We are not an airline or travel agency and cannot act on your booking.
Links to other websites
Our guides link to official sources such as regulators and airlines. When you follow those links, the other website's own privacy policy applies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its use. In practice, the only personal data we might hold is an email you sent us. To make a request, write to contact@flightsassistance.com. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Changes to this policy
If we ever decide to add analytics, advertising or any other feature that processes personal data, we will update this policy before it goes live and change the effective date above.
